WHO
The Utility Players, voted Reno's #1 Comedy Troupe (Reno News & Review) and named Reno's Best Bet For Comedy (RGJ Metromix), offer private workshops for groups, teams and organizations who are looking to strengthen communication and foster team chemistry. Some of our past clients include: student organizations, school faculty and educators, sororities, youth groups, and church groups.
All workshops are facilitated by Jessica Levity (Unv.of Wisconsin- Madison, 2008; BA: Philosophy, Sociology, Gender Studies), and developed with Christopher Daniels (Unv. of Wisconsin- Madison, 2008; BA: Psychology, Women's Studies, Gender Studies) and Theodore Levatter (Xavier University, 2005; BA: Philosophy, Communications).
WHAT
Improvopotamus: a highly interactive 2-to-4 hour workshop with The Utility Players and facilitated by Jessica Levity. With Improvopotamus, everything from the ice breakers to final discussions is fun, funny, and engaging. Your staff/team will experience genuine enthusiasm, and will desire to participate. We also have a NO PHONES! rule, but no worries, we take plenty of short intermissions.

Email theutilityplayers@gmail.com for booking information. As far as location goes, we'll come to you. There is an extra charge for locations outside the Reno/Sparks area. We can also provide a comfortable workshop location for an additional fee.
WHY
A majority of people, from management to staff, hate the words "Staff Development Training". Often, the facilitators of these trailings/workshops mean well, but the experience can to be boring, and boring is ineffective. When team building workshops are done right, guards are let down, communication flows effortlessly, relationships are strengthened, and people actually learn something.
HOW
Though each Improvopotamus workshop has a basic framework from which we build, a personal consultation team from Homeslice Productions will design your workshop to meet the overall goals you'd like the workshop to achieve, like: better communication between staff, sales teams, customers or clients; we can spark chemistry and growth within a new staff; reduce work stress or drama; stimulate creative thinking, and create a safe space that encourages self-expression, diversity and acceptance.
VALUE
Our main package is the Home Run Hitter for just $1212. This includes an advanced consultation session with the Homeslice Team, an original workshop recipe designed just for you, and 4-hour workshop which includes:
- Fantastically fun icebreakers
- A short Utility Player performance which will have your staff in love with improv, the Players, and the overall workshop
- Theory, Exercises and Games that promote communication, positive relationships, and bonding
We also offer Ice, Ice Breakers for just $200. We're famous for our icebreakers; we start off your staff development/training day on the hilarious and non-awkward foot, and you take over from there.
Or, pickup our Line Drive package for just $700. This includes an abbreviated version of the Home Run Hitter: 2-hours, and just a couple of Utility Players join us for the day.
